Chapter 11. 14 Truths and a Dare
DIMITRI’S POV
"It is snowing like a motherfucker out there," the mutt mumbled against the window. I watched as he used the palm of his hand and wiped the mist from the glass. With my hands folded behind my back, I walked up and stood beside him, shoulder to shoulder. I watched as the blizzard left its mark on the land outside.
It was still noon-time, but the sky above was dark and the clouds were thick and black, casting an even darker shadow over the fields and beyond. "Yes, it is. I must say this blizzard is even worse than what the human from the telly had promised," I continued to watch thick white snowflakes being battered as they whirled around in the hurricane-force winds. "Blizzard hardly seems an adequate enough word for what the world outside has become," I ridiculed.
The mutt turned to look at me, "Can you not talk like that. You sound so fucking old," he complained.
