"So you are a fucking hunter!" Zander roared. He stood up abruptly from the dining table and he flipped it over, sending everything crashing to the floor.
"Calm down Zee, he means us no harm. He didn't even believe them about werewolves until he met us?" Cleo tried to reason with Zander.
"So why join the leagues of hunters then?" Zander seethes through his teeth.
"It was just a way to pay for my tuition. You see, I lost my scholarship and I almost dropped out of my graduate program. They offered to pay my fees if I joined their organization, and it's the rise of the hunters, not league of the hunters,” Gerry corrected.
Zander closed his eyes tightly. We could all feel Zander's anger. He opened his eyes and then he spoke. "Ok, since you're Cleo's mate, you are now my responsibility, I'll pay for your expenses, you just need to leave the organization."
"But Zander it's not that easy,” Gerry got up from his chair.
