Chapter 45. Challenging

 Alpha Zane's POV

 Mercedes is sleeping peacefully in my arms like a contented kitten.

My mate is rapidly becoming an adult, she knows exactly what she wants and her Luna senses are starting to take over. Just like a few hours ago when we faced Kenry and Jace, two of my high rankings encountered crises in their matings. She managed to calm things down before I even stepped in as their Alpha. My mate is going to be the most perfect Luna, I can't count down the months to her eighteenth fast enough. I want to mark her, take her to my packhouse and lock us in our bedroom for a whole week. I'm damn sure she won't mind at all, as long as the cook regularly serves us lasagna.
