“What rumors?” Luck frowned; he couldn’t understand why she wouldn’t accept his job offer. The pay would improve dramatically, and he could have her though closer, which was what he wanted most.

“You’re not aware? I thought it was already public knowledge,” She said with some irony in her voice; she couldn’t believe something like that.

Luck leaned his body against the back of the sofa a few steps away from the woman in front of him and also rested his hands at his sides to prevent them from following the course of his thoughts and taking the female figure; he swallowed saliva while holding his breath for moments, his wolf was frantic inside him since he felt her arrive, he would have overcome the surprise quickly to follow her trail to his living room and corroborate her presence.

There, surrounded by her things and her scent, he fe
