“So you don’t even have to taste the blood” Charlotte asked curiously even though she knew she was blabbering, just looking for the best time to be able to ask them her real questions.

Erian shook his head, his nose, as the burn moved a little more and he got a whiff of her natural scent, no perfume at all. “Damn it” he had found it attractive when he was so close to her, but now he found it nothing but intoxicating.

“Stupid dealer,” he thought impatiently, and he was even more stupid not to read the bag of blood before putting it in his teeth first; it was a mistake that was now costing him dearly.

She felt now on her skin a little tingling. She could feel body heat coming off of her. It made her want to move closer... so she took a step back. This is going to be hell, he realized with dismay. He had to get away from her, even though, deep down, that was the last thing he wanted.
