Elara’s POV

It was late. The whole place was quiet, too quiet. Something felt off. The second Kieran came back from the border, this weight settled in my chest. Nyx wouldn’t stop pacing.

“Something is wrong with him.” Nyx said, restless. “He’s too cold over the link. He’s blocking us out, I can’t reach him. “You know what, let’s go see him. At least comfort him… the way he did for you last time.”
