Chapter 87. Beach Wedding
“Oh, Giselle, you are so gorgeous!”
My heart was hammering hard in my chest; I barely heard anything my best friend said. I sat in front of the mirror with Madelyn braiding my hair around my head like a crown and decorating it with flowers, a gold-plated cord, and red jewels.
I stood, twirled, and stared in the mirror. My lips stretched into a smile as I gazed down at my reflection while wearing the Venus-cut white flowy dress embroidered with intricate designs of flowers and beautiful linings sewn with gold threads. The dress glittered as the light struck the white diamond beadings of the gown.
“Caden had been preparing for this day.” Madelyn smiled at me as we both looked in the mirror. She was wearing a lilac gown with her hair pulled up in a bun. “He had everything prepared since the day he decided for us to stay in this place, like he was one hundred percent
