Chapter 88. The Attack

“Catherine?!”

I saw my daughter’s terrified face, and I immediately ran to embrace her, thankful that she was safe. Caden checked on both of us as well until Henry came.

“What’s happening, Henry,” Caden asked his Beta, and Henry’s pale face made me more worried, “What’s that noise?!”

“I-Its Otis—”

“Otis?!” My eyes widened. I carried Catherine in Henry’s arms. “Please take Catherine to Madz and don’t leave them, Henry. Stay with your wife and the kids.”

“But—”

“It’s okay, Henry. Keep everyone safe,” Caden tapped Henry’s shoulders. He knew that he couldn’t stop me from finding out what happened to Otis. “Let’s go, love.” He held me by my elbow and led me towards the hallways of the mansion to the source of the scream, which Henry told us came from the main hall.
