Andrew's POV

She shifted.

Well, that is certainly a new one, but even if she did, it would not change anything about what was coming.

And if Nate wasn’t so blindly in love with her, then he would be able to see this too.

If she took so long to shift, then how long would it take for her strength to be the kind of Luna that the pack needs?

I sighed as I unlocked the door to where the men were. I could feel the calm that always comes with the forceful shifting of the moon, and I knew some of the men would sleep for a while, but even if they didn't, they would find their way out, so I went out and saw Jacob. He was sitting next to sleeping Irene, who had her head on his lap.

“Is she okay?”

“Yes.”
