As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow on the quiet neighborhood, I found solace in the company of Maya. The gentle rustle of leaves overhead seemed to echo the cadence of our conversation. Nestled on the porch swing, I took a deep breath, preparing to share my desires and fears.

"I've been thinking, Maya," I began tentatively, "about Leon's and my uncle’s request. It could be a nice change, a chance to unwind."
