They proceed to keep every other, but Amelia was commencing to soften in his palms when he subsequently addressed his ancient friend.

“I didn't mate anybody who already had a mate,” he stated via his teeth. “That's a lie. And I didn't mate all the females—only wolves, and not all of them. At least, not all that were taken from here.”

“How comforting,” Drake said dryly.

Gabriel pressed his lips collectively to end himself snapping that now wasn't the time for sarcasm. He stored having flashes of the matters that he'd been pressured to do over the past three years, and it was making him shake.

He had to make Amelia fully certain.

He pulled lower back from her face enough to take her face in his hands and meet her eyes. “No remember what has passed off before, these days are finished for me,” he whispered. “I will never mate another female in my life, Amelia . You have to know that. It's you. Only you. Do you understand?”
