Sadness throbbed in Gabriel's chest that it had come to this. That his brother's rage and jealousy would possibly force Gabriel to end his lifestyles if he did not submit. For a second he almost grieved, almost conceded his gratitude, even though it would have strengthened his brother's authority.
But then Levi smiled and drew a single finger down the backyard of Amelia 's arm. A gentle touch—and exceedingly possessive.
As Amelia yanked her arm back, rage and electricity exploded in Gabriel's chest. He flowed forward snarling, “It's your funeral.”
