HERMES’S POV

I heard someone walk in. Thinking it was one of the guards who might have received a reply from Sebastian, I turned quickly to face the person only to see it was my younger sister, Hera.

Sighing exhaustively in frustration, I turned to face the window, ignoring her presence. She wasn’t what I needed to see or hear from now. It's better she left because she'll only say something to piss me off.

“The doctor said you have a fucking tumour growing in your head,” she scolded, her tone rising in provocation with each step she took toward me. “The least you could do is to stop drinking and smoking and start taking care of your health. How hard could that fucking be? And the worst part is that you’re doing it first thing in the morning.”
