It was still early morning by the time I got back to the royal capital of what was left of Ghysem. The tension and the pervading stench of blood did not weaken my determination, though. I had been away too long. So much had happened when I left that I don’t know. There was Drusus in the throneroom looking tired, as his psyche had recently been through lots of combat.

“It is good to see you, your Majesty," Drussus said with a bow. He was dressed in worn armor, that had the remains of the previous battle caked on it, as evidence of the non-stop battle he had persisted in.

“Drusus,” I responded. "It is good to see you. Although it is rather obvious the war is taking it's toll in you. Give me your report. I need to know everything.”
