Things had been pretty busy that I had not had time to interrogate the guard I had captured at the Southern pack. It was obvious Adrianna had no plans on telling on her sister and we did need solid evidence to accuse Audrey. If we could do that we could open an investigation into all of Audrey’s friends and then perhaps stop the war before it started.

“I know someone who might be able to give us the testimony we need,” I said, turning my attention to Cyrus.

“What's that supposed to mean?” Adrianna asked, startled.

“You are going to remain here until I feel it fit for you to leave,” said Cyrus.
