“Theo?” When I opened my eyes I saw Theo seated by my side.

“You're awake. I will let the Alpha know,” he was about to stand up when I held his hand to stop him.

“What happened and where am I?” I asked confused. The last thing I remember was me becoming unconscious at the market. What was he doing here now? How had he found me and what did he mean by the Alpha?

“You were stabbed; I happened to be there just in time to…”
