Chapter 18
Amareux scraped the head of his boot against the fought surface of the cave walls. Six stood at the other side of the wall, arms folded as he watched the boy.
"Aren't you meant to be in mourning? Why are you here?"
Amareux shrugged. "My father asked me to man up and not mourn for too long. That's why I am here. I am not mourning."
Six raised his brow in surprise. "How's that possible?"
Amareux shrugged again. "You ask my father."
Six sighed. "So, why are you here?"
"To see the girl?" He questioned rather than stated.
Six shook his head. "No way in hell am I letting you go towards that area."
"Why? I just need someone to talk to." Amareux spoke.
"Why? You're putting the girl in danger by visiting this dungeon. Once your father finds out you come here, she's gone for good. I do not want that."
