Chapter 20

Amareux was in his room going through a tech magazine when he heard the noise from downstairs. Then, he heard the cry of a baby. He immediately stood up from where he sat and hurried out of his room, making sure it was locked. He didn't like the maids entering his room and Dallas had taken it up as a duty to be the one in charge of cleaning his room.

He got to the head of the stairs and stood there, hands holding onto the banister. He bent forward a little to see what was going on downstairs.

When Amareux saw his father standing beside a young lady who was baring a baby in her arms, he leaped down the stairs with swiftness, hurrying straight to where the maid stood.

"Son, meet the nanny, Nicolette. She'll be taking care of our baby." His father introduced.

"Hi, Nicolette. My name is Amareux and it's so nice to meet you."
