Alpha Daniel POV

The next morning.

I woke up to the elders in the pack house like there was a serious issue at hand.

“What’s going on?” I asked Hope who was also looking shocked and scared at the same time.

“I really don’t know, but I think it’s better you don’t go there, they looked very upset.” Hope said to me and started pacing around the room.

“Where’s mom?” I asked and just immediately we heard a knock on the door.

“It’s me, open the door.” We heard mom say gently. Hope rushed to open the door and Becky walked into the room.

“Mom, what’s going on?” I asked Becky curiously. She sat on the bed hopelessly like something big was about to happen. “Mom, please say something.” I said to her while she was still not saying anything to me.

“It’s over Dan.” She said almost in a whisper. My heart skipped. I felt like my blood flow stopped for a minute as I tried to wrap what’s going on around my head.
