Edna POV

The dinning was very tense, I could sense Daniel was still fuming after hearing what Alpha Darrel said to him. No one said anything while we were eating. I kept stealing glances at Hope to see her facial expression, and shockingly she didn’t look bothered.

“What did you promise Albert?” Daniel asked all of a sudden and everyone’s ear opened like they were waiting for Daniel to ask the question.

Alpha Darrel turned to look at me, I knew a day would come when this topic would come up, I was wondering why he has asked any question all these while.

“Why would you ask such a question?” Alpha Darrel asked Daniel. Daniel was quiet for a minute when he heard Darrel’s response to his question.

“You know I have been wondering why he has always been too hard headed towards me, that day just confirmed my doubts, now I know that he was working for you.” Daniel said. He was really trying to bring up Aiden’s name during dinner.
