The next morning.

Edna woke up very early, she still couldn’t get over what happened yesterday, it felt like a horrible nightmare to her. She looked around the room and noticed Alpha Darrel wasn’t anywhere to be found meaning he still spent the night in the sitting room.

She yawned and stood up from the bed, then walked into the bathroom. When she got into bathroomdhe remembered the little girl again. She just could get her mind off what happened. She remembered every moment from the hospital and how the little girl kept crying to see her father.

The moment lived rent-free in her head as she couldn’t get over it. Especially when her father refused to accept the money that made him go over to see his daughter.

He looked very embarrassed when he got there and saw his daughter’s condition. The way she was happy to see him made him change his mind.
