Alpha Darrel POV

When I got back from work I joined them for dinner immediately because I was famished. I thought it was going up to fetch Edna but I didn’t want to seem forward, we’ve not adjusted towards each other well enough to start bugging her to eat dinner.

I was about to send the maids when I saw her walking down the stairs. I’m sure she has been there for a while, then I remembered when she talked about joining the company. I don’t know what mom would say which is why I was finding it hard to give a reply. But somehow I know I have to choose one.

When she finally joined us I could tell the energy was different from mum. She was not always bothered about Edna when we were eating but today She seemed more irritated. I had to think of a way to make the mood better so I decided to talk about what Edna did. But instead of shutting up she decided to ruin my plan by talking.
