The next morning.

I woke up and met Edna, already all dressed up for work, I can’t believe she is this excited to resume work to the extent she is already dressed up for work.

“Good morning.” She greeted with a smile on her face. It’s been a while since Edna greeted me with such a smile on her face.

She picked her bag and walked out of the room. I stood up and followed her behind so I could stop her from leaving the house because I’m yet to tell the staff that she’s the new manager, they might be shocked to see her and possibly embarrass her.

“Can you wait for us to get there together?” I said to her trying to stop her. She put her breakfast into her bag and turned to look at me.

“Don’t worry, I know how to handle everything myself.” She said to me and stepped out of the house.
