James’s POV

The moment I felt Alaia’s presence, I knew I had to get out of there. After hearing Zira’s story, it made me even more cautious. Besides, there was nothing I could do or say here, since she was the Luna and she had the Alpha wrapped around her evil little finger.

I can’t believe he was still with her after everything Alpha Zack and myself told him about her past. I guess for him, love does conquer everything. Didn’t mean I had to be happy about it though.
