Chapter 130

The wolves’ colliding bodies sounded like loud thumps as more rogues descended upon them. Deacon maneuvered as best as he could, taking down a rogue every step of the way, but they seemed to be multiplying. He did his best to concentrate, but every now and then he would feel pain in his body.

He had to get to her but there were too many obstacles in the way.

‘Portals are open,’ George linked him.

Deacon immediately started running towards George when a rogue jumped right in front of him. Maybe it was because he was only a few minutes away from her but he felt a new kind of energy surge through him. The rogue lounged at Alex, who slightly sidestepped the rogue while grabbing its neck in the process. He placed his front paws on the back of the trapped rogue and ripped its neck from its body in one take.

He continued his path until he saw Alexi, Zack’s wolf, motioning behind some trees where they shifted. George dropped down beside them.
