Chapter 91

Victoria’s POV

The moment I left the room, I went to Alaia’s office. There was a wolf standing guard. I was glad it wasn’t Jace or Chris. He was a young one so convincing him to let me through might prove easy. Walking closer to him I got an overwhelming stench of sex in the air. I almost gagged at the smell.

He noticed my face and started to sniff himself. “Is it that bad?” he asked me.

“If the Alpha comes back with you smelling like that he might get the wrong idea and…” I made the cut throat motion and watched the young wolf turn pale. “Don’t worry. I’ll watch your post. Just make it quick.”

The young wolf hightailed it out of there. As soon as he turned the corner I tried the door to Alaia’s office and the door opened. I was surprised it wasn’t locked after what happened with Mary earlier.

I knocked on the door as I opened it, calling out for Alaia but it was empty. I quickly went over to her desk to look for anything I could use against her
