“Put more strength into it, everyone. You can't fight your enemies like this,” she scoffed slightly, as the troops Carissa was teaching were not performing well to her satisfaction. It had been a year already, and she was always given one task or the other. She didn't know whether she liked it here or not, but she wanted to ensure that the hatred Xerxes had for Wolfgang Pack disappeared. Xerxes had appointed some royal troops to look after her, but she was training them instead.
“Can't we just rest for today? I think I'm going to pass out,” Albert, the youngest of the guards, who was Carissa's favorite, whined. It made Carissa remember memories of Seneca and herself. She frowned softly at their pleading eyes.
