Rissa raced back to the palace. She didn't mind the stares people were giving her. She kept running until her legs started to react. She managed to enter the huge garden Demetrius had beaten Xerxes up a year ago.

“I need to be left alone!” She ordered the guards and they left immediately.

“In the end, I can't blame you Metrius so it is just best I stop making things hard for you. I will help you and end things.” Her mind flashed back to her first meeting with Demetrius. She had thought he was a pervert since he was staring at a half dressed lady intently back in the Gammas' forest during the royal hunting festival. She smiles as she remembers how they faked hating each other at first in Gilead. The hell he showed her while she was a crown prince. The first person who would fail her while being tutored.
