Demetrius knew that Carrisa's stay in the Crescent Pack would be dangerous now that he knew Xerxes was the murderer of those ten messengers. He was surprised by how hypocritical Xerxes could be and how perfectly he had cleared everything without leaving a specific trace. He left for the palace and dropped all the equipment he had used. He picked up his wolf sword and took a horse. The guards at the gate were reluctant, but seeing the permission Alpha Miguel had given him, they allowed him to leave. Demetrius raced outside Wolfgang Pack but felt someone was within the greenwood. He stopped the horse and studied his environment.

Suddenly, he took off from the horse, using his superspeed, and pointed his sword at the intruder.
