Chapter 30

POV: Kit Garrison

I looked at Lulu who was in my arms and smiled. I realized she was already out of her traumatic state.

Realizing this I wanted to put her down but then realized that she was holding me tightly and it seemed she was comfortable in my arms.

Noticing this I decided against putting her down and carried her to the garage.

Getting to the garage I asked Jester to open the door of the back seat which he did reluctantly and I put Lulu in the seat.

Getting into the car I started it and drove out of the cinema.

"Where are we heading?" Jester frowned.

"You'll know when we get to our destination," I grinned and focused on the road.

I glanced at the mirror looking at Lulu to see if she was okay and noticed she was deep in thought.

Seeing this I started to talk with Jester as we discussed a lot of random stuff.

I would look at the mirror from time to time to observe if Lulu was right.
