POV: Lulu Winters 

Hearing the voice my heart almost flew out of my chest. Though I managed to keep my heartbeat under control it was still beating rather unnaturally.

I wonder what Kit was doing here at the time of the night. Was he here to pick up some whores?

What the fuck did he come to do? But Kit wasn't like the other men I knew who weren't able to keep their desires at bay.

But what was fate trying to say? This was the third time I had met him.

Was fate trying to tell me we were meant for each other? That couldn't be real.
