Chapter 126

John and Kira stood at the edge of the ship. Beside them stood Theo and Drake. Looking closely at the two, they seem to be getting along.

Rebecca stood at the other edge of the ship, her eyes scrutinizing the whole sea. For a moment, everything seems peaceful. There is no war, no battle cries, the wind blows normally, and everything appears to be in order.

Rebecca knows better than this. She knew all this was just for the meantime. She knew that unless the vessel was brought back to the light and every evil villain was defeated, there would be nothing like peace.

Her mind automatically flashes back to the scene where she watches Danny give up the ghost. It was a sight so horrific and scary.

After Danny defeated the chimaera, the spell that bound her and Drake broke up automatically, and she didn't waste a second before she rushed to meet him. Drake was still on the floor where he had passed out after he tried to transform by force, leaving her with Danny
