"How many hours left before we reach the sacred river, John?" Rey asked a young but well-built boy with strong muscles beside him.

He watches as the boy brings out a map from his left side pocket. After studying it for a few seconds, he finally responded.

"Just a little bit further, my lord," John answered. "According to the map here with me, we just had some miles left to cover."

"I just hope we get a clue as to where the amulet's stealer might go," Rey replied casually before he got engulfed in his imaginary world again.

"Just a few hours of becoming an Alpha, everything is already going worse," he mumbled under his breath. "I wonder how my dad used to cope."

"Everything will be fine my lord," a voice speaks beside him. "You should have stayed at home, and been recovering from your injury."
