"For once in your life, try and be patient." I heard Reed's voice beside me. The absurd, two-foot-tall cat has now returned to my shoulder.

I rolled my eyes dramatically and ignored him. Ever since we escaped from Ryan's men, he has been stymieing me. I have never met an annoying cat like him before.
