Chapter 279

As much as Rey didn't like traveling through the earth, he had no other choice now. It's the fastest way, yet the most dangerous way of traveling. When he used the earth's teleporting power back in the ancient fountain, he felt as if his intestines were twisting and his lungs were going upside down while his blood and water mixed.

He could remember that this was the same thing that occurred to him when he first traveled through the multi-color portal in the afterlife. Though he later got used to it, it took some time. He would surely get adapted to this earth-teleporting stuff.

Rey fought hard against the grumbling in his stomach, fighting against the urge to throw up. “I can do this,” he assured himself, trying to stay focused. “I did it when I saved Henry and Darius from the Pocusts.”

“I'm Rey Reed Smith.” Rey tried using a mantra to stop himself from throwing up the little food he had last night. “I'm stupid, just like Reed always says.
