LONDON
I spent an hour in a bathtub with wine that no longer appealed to me. I was more concerned with how to break to Striker regarding my father’s true intention.
I didn’t tell him last night. I couldn’t. I was too scared to face the consequences. I only said to him that I had some disagreements with my father. Judging by the look on his face, he wasn’t convinced. He knew I was hiding something, but he somehow respected my decision for now.
Right now, he was watching me like a hawk from the corner, but he hadn’t said a word to me. I wasn’t happy with his silence. And it hurt like hell, but I was a selfish bitch and wasn’t ready to lose him. I couldn’t bear it.
