Chapter 53. Blood Will Pay
Moments Later
The air shifted violently as Alpha Damian stormed into the healer’s house, his aura suffocating, his fury a palpable force. His eyes locked onto Lilian’s limp form, and his expression twisted into a dangerous snarl.
“What happened to her?” he demanded.
Lucian’s jaw was clenched. “Sisi stabbed her. She tried to kill her.”
Damian’s fists clenched at his sides. “Where is she now?”
“She escaped,” one of the warriors said bitterly. “We tried. She slipped through.”
Damian’s chest heaved with rage. “She will not get far.”
He turned to two of the warriors. “You—go now. Inform the patrol captains. No one gets in or out of this pack without being checked. I want eyes on every shadow.”
The warriors bowed and rushed out.
He turned to three more. “You. Secure the Gamma’s estate. No one leaves until I say so. Not even the Gamma himself.”

A weak gasp from the cot snapped Damian’s attention back.
