Lucian and Selena returned home with warmth in their hearts, the joy of Ella’s pregnancy still fresh in their minds. The atmosphere was light and full of hope, so Lucian suggested they celebrate it in their own way.

The moment the door to Lucian’s estate closed behind them, the world outside seemed to quiet.
