Chapter 260. Making Progress

“This may be the first step towards finding the truth you want so much.” Leo said.

She sighed, and relaxed back on the couch.

Huddling under the blanket, she began to speak. “I had been on medication for what I thought was a headache after the event with Alvaro.” She said.

She smiled sadly thinking about how no one had suspected she may be seriously ill even then.

“That afternoon, Steffan and I went to go see the other members of the Sherrod family because Spencer said he had an important announcement.” As she spoke, she felt her brain reaching for something, but she did not know what it was and could not quite reach it.

“This important announcement was that he was moving the date of his annual leave, and he wanted all of us to go as a family. Steffan said we would not be joining them, and the meeting ended in a fight.” She said.

All the other three in the room were watching her quietly.
