Michelle’s POV

Enzo had an impromptu surgery at the hospital this morning so I opted to go to the office. We had a lengthy conversation about my pregnancy last night and all I can say is that I am super proud of the man I call my husband. He didn’t make me feel I was giving him another man’s children. He makes me feel like the children in my womb are his and that is one thing I will always respect him for; taking me and my babies into his home and treating us like we are his world.

Letting out a sigh, I pick up my bag from the table and make my way out of the room. I am surprised to see Maria standing outside my door and as usual she has a huge smile on her face.

“How come you are here?” I ask her.

“The boss asked me to accompany you to the office so I came right from the house” she answers, her voice is full of energy and vigor.

“You could have come into the room,” I tell her.

“Not at all ma’am, I didn’t want to bother you”
