Odette’s POV

“Good morning mum” the two of us air kiss before she helps me to sit. After Malachi left for Texas this morning, I decided to come stay home until he gets back. It was not a decision I made on my own, he made me promise to come back home to my parents until he gets back and I did. It’s been so I decided to come see my parents.

“Where is dad?” I ask mum.

“He has a meeting in his study” she replies, “let me make you some soup. You can go and say hi to him”
