Odette’s POV

The doorbell rings and I hurry out of the kitchen to open it. Malachi left for the office because he had a meeting, I was asleep when he even left. I decided to make breakfast for myself. At this point I miss Mason, he would have been here to keep me company but I understand that young man is busy with school and I will hate to ruin that.

My face breaks into a little smile when I see the person standing outside my door… Emma.

“Good morning ma’am” she greets politely.

“Good morning Emma, what brings you here?” I open the door wider, “please come on in”

“That won’t be necessary ma’am, the boss asked us to bring this for you”
