Michelle’s POV

“I can walk by myself” I tell Enzo two days later as soon as the car comes to a halt in front of the mansion but he will hear nothing of it.

He alights from the car before gathering me up in his arms and making his way into the house.

Ever since I woke up two days ago, Enzo has not allowed me to even do anything, he was up and about for me and I couldn’t be more thankful.

I am even more thankful for the fact that his blood was all the remedy I needed, the fact that he saved me and gave me a new lease on life.

If I could ask for one thing from the moon goddess, it would be to keep Enzo happy for the rest of his life because he has shown me what Nicholas couldn’t in three years.
