I helped her move back to her seat, both of us wincing at the separation. She adjusted her dress while I fixed my jeans.
Once we were both decent, I started the car and pulled out of the parking area.
The drive home was quiet but charged. I could feel Athena's eyes on me and every time I glanced over, she was looking at me with that same hungry expression.
My hands gripped the steering wheel tighter. This was going to be a long few days.
"How long does heat usually last?" she asked after a while.
"Three to five days usually," I said. "Sometimes longer." She let out a small whimper and I glanced over at her.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm just really uncomfortable," she admitted. "Everything feels too sensitive and I can't stop thinking about you touching me."
I groaned. "You're not making this easy."
"Sorry," she said, but she didn't sound sorry at all.
