Chapter 102. Veiled Secret

After a moment of fear, Damian quickly calmed down and explained to Taya without batting an eyelid.

“I already went back. My sister wasn’t feeling well, so I brought her to the big pack hospital to get checked out.”

On the surface, this made sense, but…

“Your sister?”

How come she had never heard that Damian had a sister?

“She’s pregnant, so it was inconvenient for her to attend the mating ceremony. You may not have met her before. Harper knows her. I guess she forgot to tell you…”

There was a hint of sarcasm in Damian’s last sentence.

Taya didn’t ask any more questions. However, how she looked at Damian was no longer as gentle as before?

She walked in the direction of the elevator. After entering, she did not close the door immediately. Instead, she hid in the corner and looked toward the obstetrics and gynecology department.

Thinking that Taya had left, Damian waved to the pregnant woman. The woman immediately came over.
