Chapter 135

Diana’s POV

Harry’s hands were on my shoulders, his fingers tightening almost imperceptibly, and I knew he was going to try to move me out of the way. I braced my feet on the ground, but he was far bigger and stronger than me. If he moved me, he was dead, I knew it.

“Harry, no, please. Don’t do it.”

“I love you, Diana, You and our baby son.”

He hauled me to one side, hard enough to make me stumble. I didn’t want to fall, aware of the possibility of any impact harming the baby, and pinwheeled my arms to keep to my feet.

Behind me, the crack of a gunshot went off, followed swiftly by a second.

I spun around and screamed.
