Dalia’s POV

Two lines.

I looked at the sticks in my hand and they all had the same thing on them, two lines. Just to be sure I was not going crazy, I checked the instructions at the back of the tests and it was written there boldly with a picture to confirm my biggest fear- or maybe joy.

I was pregnant. I stood still with the sticks and became numb. I wasn’t thinking about anything, I didn’t want to think about anything. It feels so surreal but at the same time, a part of me knew that was what’s up from the very beginning.

A knock from the door brought me out of my state and that was when I realized that I had been in there for too long. I opened the door to let Chelsea in and just pointed towards the sticks.

She took them and her jaw dropped. “Yo-you’re pregnant?” She asked. “Well, that’s what the test says,” I said as casually as I could.
