Dalia’s POV

“Dalia, are you pregnant?” My mother asked again when I didn't answer her the first time. I heard her but I was too stunned to speak.

It's just the stress, right? It's not really a big deal. Stuffs like this happen all the time, right? I was lost in thought and didn't hear Chelsea speaking to me until she tapped me.

“Lia, are you pregnant?” She asked and I shook my head before smiling. “No, definitely not. I’m just stressed, that’s all,” I tried to shake them off but they both looked at me suspiciously.

“Let’s get back to eating, that was nothing for real,” I said and picked up my fork to start eating back. I didn’t really eat my food and just pushed my food around till I gave up and excused myself.
