“I have never meant to torture you. It’s ridiculous to think that.” 

Amy scooted to move farther from Samuel. However, Samuel moved too and pulled her body, placing her to sit on his lap. He cupped her face with both hands and looked into her eyes. 

“Then let’s remarry in three days.”
