Chapter 134. Escape Attempt

On the last floor of a three-story building, staring out of the window, is Clarisse, looking disappointed and hopeless. She stared down out of the building to see that her intention of jumping out of the window wasn’t possible. The house is extravagant; it is surrounded by nature, and the furniture is simple and luxurious, telling the nature and the wealth of the owner, but none of this entices Clarisse. None of the beauties she’s seeing could ever be compared to her home, and the person who makes everything beautiful is also not there.

How can such a beautiful building be in a place of nowhere?

She thought, thinking of screaming to see if anyone would surface but looking around once again, all she sees is nothing but forest. Her shoulders dropped, and her face was clouded with worries and fears.
